About Me

gillian: Hello. I'm an Art and Textiles teacher living and working in Australia. I am originally from Scotland and in September 2011 I relocated from living in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates where I lived and taught Art in a British school for about 18 months. I completed my teacher training in Glasgow, Scotland in 2008 and since then I’m always making resources, trying to learn new things and researching lots! I am hoping to use this blog to share ideas with other teachers and creative sorts. I'd also like to show off the brilliant work that the pupils produce at school. I am constantly amazed by the children’s' creativity and interpretations of art. I love working with young people and to help them get creative, messy and seeing them take pride in their work and ideas.
